Oglala Lakota College's Woksape Tipi Library and Archives serves as the academic library for Oglala Lakota College and is the public library for the Pine Ridge Reservation. Each of the college centers has a condensed library while the main branch holds approximately 50,000 titles across program disciplines as well as general subject, and special collections with an emphasis on the Oceti Sakowin and related tribes. Additionally, we support a specialized collection for the nursing department and have supported the expansion and organization of the Cheyenne River College Center library. Each staff member wears many hats that support the maintenance of analog and digital resources of thirteen libraries, including cataloging, weeding, collections development, formal information literacy seminars, individual student assistance, and K-12 and community outreach and programming.
